Operations - Coresix is a full service precision glass fabricating facility offering the following capabilities:
- Precision Edging - The fine ground edge conditions we create on a wide range of sizes and shapes are only the beginning of our precision grinding capabilities. With a full compliment of edging lines and state–of-the-art grinding stations, we can custom engineer a process for nearly any glass requirement.
- Lapping - Our experience in Lapping dates to the 1970’s. We routinely thin glass to 200ìm, maintain thickness tolerances to +/- 3ìm, and flatness to <1ìm
- Polishing - From a background in the mass production of CD Master Glass, Coresix has been successful in evolving our polishing process to produce the highest level of surface quality and cleanliness available in the semiconductor, photolithography, biotech and display industries today.
- Critical Cleaning - The extensive cleaning and inspection capabilities of Coresix have been driven by the continually changing demands of today’s technologies. By anticipating the need for higher standards and continually working with our customers, we are able to consistently provide quality levels to meet or exceed all expectations.
Materials - Coresix Precision Glass has formed strong relations with many of the top glass suppliers in the industry. We can provide access to nearly any glass material in any format. We can also provide assistance in identifying the best substrate for your application.
